Simple Troubleshooting method

1.Conveyor deviation1) Determine whether the tension of the conveyor belt is appropriate. If the conveyor belt is too loose, it will easily deviate.2) On the pallet support of the conveyor belt, there are two adjusting bolts near the exit end of the conveyor belt, and the tension of the conveyor belt can be adjusted by these two bolts.3) Observe whether the tension of the two reeds is the same. If the tension of the two sides is not the same, it will also cause the conveyor belt to drift.4) Through these two adjusting bolts, the tension of the two cymbals can be adjusted to be the same, and the problem of the deviation of the conveyor belt can be solved.

2. The machine has no sensitivity1) Check whether there are large metal foreign objects in the hole of the probe head, such as coins, keys, screws, etc., and exclude metal impurities.2) Whether the product selection is correct.3) Whether it is selected in the NG prohibited state. In this state, the instrument will not perform any alarm or elimination action when detecting any metal, but the signal indicator will indicate.4) If the above conditions are eliminated and the instrument still has no detection sensitivity, please call our company.

3. Periodic false alarm of the instrument 

1) Whether the conveyor belt is contaminated by metal impurities. If the conveyor belt is contaminated by metal impurities, the detector will alarm whenever the contaminated part passes through the detection area. Clean the conveyor belt to remove metal impurities.

 2) Even if the conveyor does not rotate, the instrument still reports false alarms periodically. At this time, there may be high-power interference sources, such as vibration screens, around the detector.

4. The instrument alarms irregularly 

1) The detector occasionally reports irregular false alarms, which may be caused by unstable power supply. This can be solved by adding a regulated power supply.

2) When the product is not detected, the instrument is normal. When the product to be detected passes through the detection area, the alarm is issued even if the product does not contain metal impurities, which indicates that the detection parameters are not adjusted properly. Please refer to Chapter 3.

3) If there is still a false alarm after the conveyor stops, check whether there are high-power interference sources around the equipment, such as motors, engines, etc.

4) Check if there is large moving metal around the equipment.

5) Check whether the power ground wire is good. To ensure the stability of the instrument, a solid ground wire is required.

5. The motor can’t start 

1) On the panel of the control box, press the "Start" and "Stop" buttons and observe whether the relays in the control module are operating. If there is any action, the motor is damaged or the starting capacitor is damaged. You can buy the same type of motor and replace it. Or contact the company's after-sales service department. Non-professionals must not repair without authorization to prevent electric shock.

 2) If the relay does not operate, the control module may be damaged, or the connecting wire may be loose. Eliminate the loosening of the connection cable and observe whether the fault is eliminated. If the motor still does not start, please contact the company's after-sales service department. Non-professionals must not perform repairs to prevent damage to other components due to improper repairs.
