Certificate:

If use x-ray inspect food,x ray inspection machine will damage food?

Scientific evidence shows that X-rays do not harm food. A study conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1997 confirmed that food radiation doses of no more than 10,000 Sv would not affect the safety or nutritional value of food, which means that the irradiation intensity of food is about 10 million times that used in X-ray detection, and the food can still be eaten safely without losing its nutritional value. And we have got the certificate.

Will x-ray inspection for food cause harm to food?

The X-rays generated by X-ray inspection machine is safe for inspected items under normal circumstances. The reason why protective curtains are set at both ends of the channel for the rays generated by the equipment used for security inspection is to protect the staff who stay nearby for a long time and further reduce the exposure dose. Therefore, water and food that have passed the security inspection can be used normally. X-ray inspection machine for food is device that generate X-rays. They are mainly composed of X-ray tubes, X-ray machine power supplies, and control circuits. The X-ray tubes are composed of cathode filaments (Cathod), anode targets (Anode), and vacuum glass tubes. The X-ray inspection system power supply can be divided into two parts: high-voltage power supply and filament power supply. The filament power supply is used to heat the filament. The high-voltage output ends of the high-voltage power supply are clamped at both ends of the cathode filament and the anode target, respectively, to provide a high-voltage electric field to accelerate the active electrons on the filament to flow to the anode target, forming a high-speed electron flow. After bombarding the anode target surface, 99% is converted into heat, and 1% produces X-rays due to the Compton effect.
